"Some years ago I was selling Chemotherapy medicine and visited a patient in the hospital ward who was very close to the end of her life. Seeing her, I felt such sorrow that I could not work and had to go home.
I knew I was helping patients by providing the newest and best medicines available, but I wished I could do more. By studying cancer prevention, I learned that the only way to do more was to do the right things earlier in life. Good health starts with a healthy lifestyle, including knowing how to prepare and eat healthy food from a young age. In our modern society proper eating is one of the keys to managing stress and keeping forever young.
The person who cooks in the home sets the course for the entire family. The health of the everyone in the home depends on her or him. But many home chefs don't know how to use food and cooking to create a healthy lifestyle. My personal goal is to share my knowledge and enthusiasm for great and healthy food with the chef in each home, so they can create a joyful and positive future for themselves, their families, and their friends."
